What is Home Start Cymru’s Festive Gift Appeal?

Many families will be forced to choose between paying their energy bills or buying food in the coming months and festive gifts can become an unaffordable luxury.

Each festive season, we organise gifts to be donated, sorted, and delivered to our supported families.

This year, our Gift Appeal is needed more than ever. We’re all facing a harsher winter, with household living expenses escalating, but we hope that the spirit of the gifting season is alive in Wales.

With the help of generous organisations, groups, and individuals, we can help others in need! Let’s come together and deliver some magic to children across Wales.

“I was dreading Christmas but when Home-Start Cymru gifted us with toys for my son it took some of the stresses away. It made me feel so much more hopeful and optimistic. My son had gifts under the tree and watching my him on Christmas morning and seeing his smile, that made my Christmas so magical.”

How you can support our Gift Appeal…

Buy Gifts
You can go out and buy your own gifts or you can buy presents directly from our Amazon Wishlist. These will be delivered straight to our head office.

Alternatively, we can work with you to arrange delivery to the families!

Donate on Just Giving
You may find it easier to simply donate the money you raise via Just Giving.

The money will be spent buying gifts, food and meeting any additional needs of our support
families during the festive period.

Purchase Vouchers
You can also buy vouchers and have them delivered to us.

These will then be distributed to families in need, for them to purchase what they need.

Our Gift Appeal is a great way for your organisation or group to get into the festive spirit and support a family in need. If you want to get involved and help us deliver the magic of the festive period to children across Wales, please email fundraising@homestartcymru.org.uk and we will send out our Gift Appeal Campaign Pack with more information.
