Speech and Language Support aims to work with parents of young children to ensure they are confident in supporting their child’s speech and language development.
We provide families with resources that support parents and their children with speech, language and communication needs.
For referred families, we offer individual sessions to support parents in engaging their child in a natural and stimulating setting. Parents learn simple ways to improve communication, improve vocabulary and encourage curiosity in their children.
These sessions can be delivered by both staff and volunteers, but by delivering in the family home, allows the parent and child to be more relaxed.
