Home-Start Cymru understands that it can be a challenging time when your child is on the Neuro Development pathway.
Neurodevelopment support for families project provides parents with emotional and practical support to manage these challenges.
As part of the project, we offer support to parents of children living across the Cwm Taff Health Board area that are awaiting, or are on the neurodevelopmental pathway. Parents can get bespoke support for their concerns, as well as 1:1 support in their home and peer support groups.
We aim to:
- support parents/carers to understand theirs and their children’s ND needs
- provide 1-1 behaviour support
- provide information, resources and practical tools to support the family
- provide opportunities to improve emotional wellbeing through peer support/parents with shared experience
Our support is tailored to the family needs and together, we’ll provide support that important to each family we support.
